The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) has accredited the FSU College of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Program at Sarasota Memorial with commendation. During their three years of training, residents have the opportunity to rotate through all of the disciplines in general internal medicine under the supervision of top-notch physicians, researchers and medical educators, and participate in the care of patients in the hospital, nursing homes, community physician offices and clinics, and specialty practices.
